Thank you for sharing that video. - It turns out, even adults think you have to sit still in meetings...at least adults are allowed to doodle...usually. I listened to those kids and it was like listening to myself. I always wonder how the heck I actually made it through school successfully (that doesn't mean happily....)

Yes it was a bit of a deja vu moment for me too. When I was in 7th grade my parents convinced our pediatrician to prescribe sedatives for me because I had too much energy and wiggled in chair. My teacher was appalled when I started falling asleep in class. She took me aside for a chat and we made a pact. She would give me the pills but I could do anything I wanted with them. I threw them away. I have no idea how I survived school either. The nuns were particularly onerous.

It was SO much fun. And they learned so many important skills - math, eye-hand coordination, writing, marketing, public speaking, sewing, hat design, color coordination, how to manage money and what to do with it once you got it, and of course self-esteem. I wish you could have seen their eyes shine. I learned as much as they did :-)
