When Birds Sing

Many of you know that I launched a project called Song Flight two years ago. Song Flight uses stories, songs, and creative activities to teach kids kindness. It was originally created for use in classrooms where Ukrainian children who’d been displaced by the war were being taught. Out of that effort came the Song Flight album, “Singing for the Kids of Ukraine” (see below). The album is composed of 13 songs donated by musicians from around the world. Funds from its sale go towards making Song Flight available to schools that can’t afford to host the program. Please take a moment to listen to some of the amazing musicians doing what they love and do best.

As part of my own process of staying sane (and focused on the good in others), I've been creating Song Flight-themed art for use on t-shirts. I hope that wearing one of these designs will comfort and inspire you the way they have comforted and inspired me. Please let me know what you think.
