Of all the tales coming out of Ukraine, the ones that continue to take me out at the knees are those about the animals. In particular, the stories about dogs. They are innocent. They have done nothing but love their humans. They do not deserve what is happening to them, and their suffering makes me ashamed to be human.

I’m sure you’ve heard the stories and seen the terrible photos too, so I won’t add to the pain. Instead, I want to share a new song by one of our Songs 4 Ukraine groups, Farba Kingdom. It’s entitled, “Friend.” The lyrics are below. Click HERE to listen.
