Songs 4 Ukraine - A Goth Soul
Saturday, May 21st our “Songs 4 Ukraine” concert was held in honor of Malinich Andrii (or Andrey Sarabanda as he likes to be called on SM). You can read all about this talented singer, songwriter, composer, pianist, and actor by clicking HERE.
Second Life audiences were given a treat when Andrey created a Second Life account and logged in as a vampire! Undaunted by Second LIfe’s many bells and whistles he jumped right into dancing, flying, and costume changes. It was a lot of fun to see how quickly he picked things up, including text messaging. Throughout the shows, he applauded and shared his thoughts in both English and Ukrainian.
We tried to get Andrey to promise to return and do a live show for us (he has a remarkable bass-baritone voice) but all he would say is, “maybe.”
Below are the recordings of Frogg and Rasp’s shows. They were stellar as always. Andrey asked me to thank Frogg, Rasp, and everyone who attended the shows for coming. “I had fun,” he said. “The music helped me relax.”
