These are the opening lines from Chapter I of Song Flight, the new project I’m launching with the help of kids from around the world. In addition to everything you saw in the video above, kids will have the chance to:

• Flex their creative wings;

• Meet and talk with the author;

• Meet and talk with the musicians;

• Ask questions and learn about other people, places, and cultures; and

• Share love, hope, and healing with the people of Ukraine.
