What song would you sing for this sweet dog, rescued from artillery fire today?

I am sharing this because these folks are doing a great job, but also because I am not sure if people realize how this attack on Ukraine impacts the animals. This is taken from a post by K9 Global Rescue. I’ve edited it for brevity.

“Earlier today, we came across this dog walking the streets outside our lodging. He was curious, but not trusting enough to come close for food. I was in the process of putting food into a bowl for him when all hell broke loose.

Directly across the street, less than 200m away, two large shells hit. Several more followed in quick succession. We immediately brought the dog into the lobby of the hotel. He was trembling uncontrollably in utter terror.

He's still with us, and he's not leaving. We cannot and will not put him back on the streets. He came to us looking for a friend, and now he has a family. But what he needs now is a home, and a name. That's where we need your help.

The cost to get this incredibly sweet boy to the US is going to be high.
