“Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader--not the fact that it is raining, but the feeling of being rained upon.” ― E.L. Doctorow
Someone for whom I did a developmental edit a few years ago reminded me that when I lived in Hawaii I supported myself as a developmental editor and writing coach. She wanted to know why I wasn’t doing that work anymore. To be honest, I’d kind of forgotten about it. I got so caught up in taking care of my mom’s out-of-control diabetes, writing a syndicated column, and starting CritterKin (my children’s media property), that that it fell off my radar.
The name I gave my little one-stop writing and editing shop was, “Write From the Start.”
At my friend’s suggestion, I revisited some of my favorite projects and came away thinking, “That was fun, and I learned a lot. Why not do it again?” So I went ahead and added a Write From the Start page to my website and wrote a bit about what I can offer.
I hope you’ll take a look, and if you like what you see, pass the link along to others. Here it is: https://www.braidedlives.com/write-from-the-start
Oh, and while you’re perusing the page, don’t forget to click on the image above to listen to a song that has always lifted my spirits and given me hope.
Thank you!

Jena, Have you thought of doing this through advertising on Fivver? This all sounds great. I know many people who have put their businesses on fivver and got clients. Good ones, too. Let me know what you think. It costs $5. to join, but it's worth it. I was going to do it a while back and forgot about it.
Jena, I suggest that---in honor of launching your new business----you offer an exciting
discount, or coupon, or some enticement for people to jump on this! You gotta
motivate people to leap!!
